LICENSES

Dog Licenses - Due on or before April 1st - Town Office
Marriage & Civil Union License - Town Office
Vehicle Registration (Renewal Only) - Town Office

TAXES

Property Tax payments due 8/15, 11/15, 3/15 and 5/15 each year

New TRASH & RECYCLING SCHEDULE starting July 9, 2008

Trash Schedule:

Trash is picked up every Wednesday. The only holidays that trash will not be picked up is when Christmas and New Years fall on a Wednesday. When this occurs, trash will be picked up on Thursday.

Recycling Schedule:

1st and 3rd Wednesdays - Route 128 and west of 128 will be picked up.
2nd and 4th Wednesdays - East of Route 128 will be picked up.
(No pick up on the 5th Wednesday of the month.)

Recycling bins are available at the town office.

Please note: Trash and recycling need to be put out for pickup before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday mornings, and placed curbside at the end of your driveway (or road in some cases) where it can be seen by the driver. If you put your garbage out the night before, be sure to place it in a can with a lid or other appropriate receptacle to prevent animals from getting into it.

Other services

Subdivision, building, septic and access permit applications are available at the town office.
Green Mountain Passport applications and blue recycling boxes are also available at the town office.
Burn permits are available at the town office, from the fire warden or online.
